Ongoing: Unconventional Art Club
Every Thursday, 5-8pm
Join us every Thursday to dive into creative adventures with other makers! No medium restrictions or sketchbooks necessary. This “Club” is created to bring us Makers and Creatives into a space to connect and make together. Bring your own mediums of choice, a sketchbook or any surface or project to play with. There will be weekly prompts, various mediums available to dive into and play with (Project Fees may apply), demos and monthly Giggle Water Specials! Cost: Free!
WORKSHOPS
Encaustic Melted Wax Art / Sunday, May 11th, 1:30pm-5pm
You’ve likely seen encaustic art throughout the crooked house, and many folks have inquired about it! It’s a unique art form that truly allows participants to play. $85/maker, RESERVATION REQUIRED, call or email to reserve your spot!
Peyote Stitch Bracelet / Thursday, May 15th, 5pm-8:30pm
Learn to create your own hand-stitched seed bead bracelet! This style of beaded bracelet is perfect for a minimalist look or layered for a bolder statement. You can go super colorful, or more subdued - options are endless! Price: TBD, RESERVATION REQUIRED, call or email to reserve your spot!
Botanical Cyanotype Canvas Tote Bag / Friday, May 30th, 2pm-5pm
Cyanotypes get their name from the beautiful deep blue prussian blue color tone. In this workshop we will create a few test prints to get you comfortable with the process, and then using big leaf maple leaves, fern stems, or other natural flora/fauna, you will use the skills learned to create your own canvas tote bag, adorned in a cyanotype style! $40/maker, RESERVATION REQUIRED, call or email to reserve your spot! *Live music from local duo Jackalope Blue will begin at 6pm.

Bay area artist Kyra Gordon will share her powerful vocals, deft touch on the keyboard, and command of the room. Watch her perform original songs with disarmingly personal lyrics, punctuated with spoken tales from her extensive travels.
Avery Goffinet - Scandinavian Folk / Saturday, April 26th, 5:30pm-7:30pm
You may have seen him with his nyckelharpa around Jacksonville or at the crooked house before, and his unique playing is a sight to be seen!
Jared Gutridge Duo - Singer/Songwriter / Saturday, May 3rd, 5:30pm-7:30pm
The Gutridge Duo is back! We’re excited to welcome them back to the crooked porch. Their flawless harmonies and easy listening sound will be sure to make this Saturday extra special!
Artist Reception: Bee Regenerative + live music by Rogue Hot Club (vintage jazz) / Friday, May 9th, 6-8:30
Sarah Red-Laird is back with her annual artist reception showcasing her cyanotype art. Artist talk will happen at 6pm, and live music from Rogue Hot Club will be from 6:30-8:30. Special honey-inspired cocktail will also be on the menu!
