Join local herbalist and educator Lauren Kemple for a medicinal and edible plant walk in Forest Park. You'll be introduced to native and naturalized plants in the field, learn about edibility, medicinal value, and other ethnobotanical uses. Participants will receive a blank nature journal in which they can begin to document learning. Bring favorite a favorite pencil for notes and sketching and a camera for taking photos to add to your journal later. Meet back at The Miners' Bazaar after the walk if you'd like to continue working on plant sketches and enjoy a complimentary drink.
Content will be geared for adult learners but children are welcome to tag along and play and make their own journal for an extra $5.
Cost: $15/adult. Kids join in for FREE. Includes one journal and a refreshing beverage post workshop.
Reserve your spot today as space is limited.
